St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church

St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church is the Community Sponsor of the Richmond Ashland National Register Historic District Initiative. It is a natural fit with the Church’s dedication to the betterment of their parish community.

Since its location on Colonial Circle for nearly 120 years, St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church has served as a center of community for the Elmwood Village neighborhood. The Church’s role as a neighborhood center is clear in the diverse spiritual, cultural, educational and social programs that take place on a daily basis.

The historic campus of St. John’s-Grace Episcopal Church on Colonial Circle is a certified Local Landmark by the City of Buffalo. When listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing building to the historic district, St. John’s-Grace Church will be eligible for additional funding specifically for certified historic buildings at the National level.
